There is a very good chance that you did not even notice that there was a change. This is because they are compatible with the Bluetooth 2 and 3 standards. Soon, you will have accessories (mice, keyboards, and other gadgets) that will take full advantage of the new standards. You will then need to decide if you need to upgrade your accessories.

Experts say that a traditional wireless mouse and keyboard using the new protocol could possibly last for five to seven years before needing a fresh battery--likely outlasting the life of the product.
